Potatoes: Old have como freely to hand, but there has been a demand for much lareor quantities. Prices have considerably advanced. New potatoes are coming forward in large quantities. Shepherd's have wild lower. Kidneys have maintained former values, more c•.mid have been sold. Oni'ins of good quality remain scarce, and command previous values. Wheat, oats, and other grain in fair demand at slightly lower rates. Bran and sharps are unchanged. There is a demand for good chaff. ISacon and hams: A fair quantity was entered, and all sold at better values. There is a good demand for well-got-up lots. Cheese has been in better supply, with a tendency downward. Fresh butter: The supply has beon still larger, values unchanged. Kgf?s: .Lnrsro quantities were entered ; prices were higher; demand unsatisfied. Money has moved off at lower rates. Fruit: The kinds to hand have sold at satisfactory prions. The oranges ex Wainui, were easily disposed of. Tn the poultry department all pens were filled, prices all round were slightly lower.
