BtTCKLANI) ANIiSON'H' WEKKLy Rki'OUT. —At the Haytnai-kefc, durincr the past woek, meadow hay has brought from Is (id to 2s 3d; oaten sheaves, 2s 9d the 1001 b ; beat chaif, £3 15s to £-1 4s tho ton ; maize, 2s !)d ; oats, 2s 3d to 2s Od the bushel. On Friday horses were yarded in full numbers. Prices for medium draught ranged from £8 £12 ; aged heavy draught, £7 to £10; riding horses, J33 to £10 each. At tho Polceno cattle sale, not many cattle were yarded, but at Drury there was a full muster. Dairy stock kept their values, but steers of all classes were about 5 per cent, cheaper than hitherto. At tho Remuera Yards, on Thursday, dairy cattle at profit scarcely kept their lato values; thpy brought from £2 to £3 us each. Store cattle in usual number were in demand, and sold well, particularly fresh conditioned cows and heifers. Fat cattle wore better worth. Prices ranged from 18s to 20s the 1001b ; 121 steers, ranging from £5 5s to £8 ss, averaged £0 10s. Fat calves, short of usual number, obtained better values. Fat lambs, more numerous than hitherto, kept their values, and ranged from 8s to 13s each. Fat sheep, in full number, sold irregularly ; good quality kept late values, but medium quality were lower; 559 wethers in their wool averaged 19a ; 450 shorn wethers, 13s (id. Pigs, either fat or store, were required, and sold satisfactorily.

Messrs Huntku and Nolan's Weekly Repoht.—Grain, seeds, horso feed, &c. : (hving to the growth of grass tlio demand is materially reduced, and as supplies are plentiful, prices had rather a downward tendency. We quote : Feed oats, 2s 8d to 2s 10 J ; maize, 2s Sd to 2s lOd; bran, £3 10s to £4 per ton. Horses : An average number were brought forward, and found purchasers without noteworthy alteration in value. About the usual number were submitted by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday. Bidding was spirited at commencement of the sale, but slackened as it proceeded, but most of the reserves were reached. We quote : Hacks, from £5 to £12 10s ; light hanifss, from £G to £14. Wool, hides, and skins : Limited quantities were brought forward at the Durham Yards; values remained unaltered. Cattle : There was a large number of ■tore stock at the special sale held at the Newmarket Yards oil Monday, and notwithstanding toe heavy downpour of rain there was a good attendance of buyers!, but prices were a shade lower than at the previous sale. Grown steers sold at from £3 to £3 lis; eighteen months to two years old, £1 15s to £:); dry cows, from £1 5s to £1 15s ; calves, IBs to £1. There was a good muster of dairy and fat beasts_ at Newmarket, but owing to the non-arrival of a draft from the North stores were f-earee. Competition was good throughout the sale, at barely the previous week's values. Some averages of steers were, £7 Is (id, £7, £6 Us, £(i Ss Ud ; £({ 2s 3d, £5 lis 3d, kit 7s Gd, £5 ss. Sheep : There was a good muster at the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday, and maintained last week's values. Wethers in wool sold at from lis 3d to 17s !ld ; shorn, lis to 12s ; ewes in wool, 15s to 15s (Jd ; lambs, 5s lid to 12s 3d. Pigs: Few yarded : in good demand. Mifcwiis Sto.vh.
