APPOINTMENT OF MR FIDLER'S SUCCESSOR. (BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Friday. At tho meeting of the Board of Education this afternoon, a choice of an inspector to take tho post resigned by Mr Fidler was made. After ballot Messrs Fidler, Dickenson, and Sloman were chosen from thirteon names sent in, and the final vote resulted in Mr Dickenson's appointment. Tho vote for temporary inspector resulted in the appointment of Mr F'idler unanimously. __________
