ORE FROM MAROTOTO.
Splendid Assay. [IIY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION']. Wellington, Wednesday. Dr Skey received some silver ore from Marototo. Thepiecis are only small, but the analysis gives astonishing results. In one instance the proportion is at a rate of 75 ounces of gold, and 3,1308 ounces of silver to the ton, and in another 55 ounces hi gold and 45 ounces -ilver, the exact n.tturo of ore is being further investigated. Specimens will be sent to the Duuedin Exhibition.
