News from Apia states there was another !» ;vere earthquake shock on Sunday week, but no damage was done. At a meeting of chiefs from various districts, it was resolved that Mataafa shall continue to act as king till the result of the Berlin conference is ratified by the Powers. At a great native feast Maliutoa declared lie did not want to aet as kins ; Mataafa having done so well should be sustained, and he would act as vice-king.
