.Several horses are impounded at Alexandra. Messis McKinnon Bros.' thoroughbred horse Gilderoy, will travel the Waikato and Waipa districts this season,- in charge of E. O'Grady. Gilderoy's stock is now getting into the market, and is much sought after for cab horses, a number of his colts averaging £20 each lately in Auckland. Twelve years ago, when we tried to introduce Van Houten's cocoa in the Auckland market, people found tho price too high, but now hardly any other cocoa is selling, for the public found out it is the purest and withal the cheapest. We prophesy that our Colombo Garden Ceylon Tea will be the Van Houtens amongst all other teas, as it is a first-class and economical beverage.— Brown, Bakskxt, & Co.
