Twenty carriages were smashed, and many people killed. Lieut. F. Tottenham, just appointed to H. M".s. Royalist, committed suicide at Devonport. The cotton corner has collapsed. A verdict of wilful murder has been returned against a police inspector and a constable for shooting a boy during an eviction in Tipperary.
