He took a final farewell of iiis three children at 0 a.m. He made 110 confession, bat from his refusal to partake of the Sacrament on Sunday, lest he should have to say something before ho died, it was inferred that he contemplated confessing on Saturday. When the Sacrament was administered, he was asked whether lie would like to confess, and he said he had confessed it to his God. There was a very small attendance at the execution.
