Notice is hereby given that the Piako County Council proposes to RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN for the purpose of undertaking a Special Public Work within the Patetere Riding of the Piako County, and the following statement is published in accordance with the prorisions of Section 193 of "The Counties Act, 188G " : — 1. The particular work to be undertaken Taking, surveying, and makiug a road, commencing at or near the Okoroiri Railway Station, aud running thence in a south-easterly direction through portions of Blocks XIV. and XV., Tapapa Survey District, to a point on the Lichfield-Te Aroha Road, in Block 111., Patetere North Survey District. 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose £1000. 3. Special Rate it is proposed to pledge as security for such loan : —A Special Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the £ over all ratable property within the Patetere Riding, exclusive of Crown and Native Lands, such rate to be an annually - recurring rate, payable half-yearly for 20 years.
