Messrs Goldshorough, Moot and Co.'s monthly grain report Melbourne, August 22. —The business done during the past four weeks in breadstuffs has been entirely confined to supplying local requirements and a limited export of flour to the other colmnios. The quantity of wheat still remaining in the colony is estimated as only sufficient for home consumption till next harvest. The prospects for the coming harvest aro at present satisfactory. The weather has been very favourable to the growing crops, and wa should have a good surplus for export if present anticipations aro realised. Wheat: The present ruling price is 5s 6d por bushel, with a limited inquiry by millers for the pressing requirements. Oats are dull at 4s to 4s Id per bushel, with a very small trade demand, and large stockß held.
