Sin, —In a local about thewheat which took a gold medal at above exhibition you ask, " Perhaps Mr Hunt will let us know where this wheat was grownln reply I beg to say that it was a piime sample of Tuscan, and also of Pearl (winter wheat), grown within twenty miles of Auckland, and, I hardly add, was wheat of the season 1 .["ore last.—Yours,*&c., R. K. HUNT. Auckland, 3rd September. [Mr Hunt has courteously replied to our query. We were in hopes tho wheat was Waikato-grown.—lid. W. T.]
