MASONIC.
(BY TELKCSHAHI.— PItKSS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Friday. A MKKTIXO of the Central Executive Coiruiittee of the Masonic Union wan held tonight, and was fully attended. It was announced that a majority of lodges of each constitution in the colony had resolved in favour of the establishment of a United Grand Lodge. A resolution was unanimously carried that a convention of delegates of the lodfres meet in Wellington on Wednesday, September 11th, to constitute the Grand' Lodge. This date was decided on as it was from the first understood that a convention should be held during the preMont session of Parliament, and the 11th is the latest possible certain date. Unless it is held before Parliament is prorogued it is felt to be impossible) to get such a representative gathering of Masons as delegates in any centro as can now bo assembled in Wellington. A large number of members of Parliament belonging to the craft have already been nominated as lodse delegates.
