HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
An adjourned meeting of the Hamilton Domain Board was held in the Borou.rh Council Chambers, Hamilton, on Thursday evening at 7.13. Mr Isaac Coates presided, and Messrs Tippen, Salmon, D.ney and Jones were also present. The miniit.is of the last ordinary meeting were road and confirmed. Ff.ncin'g.—The Chairman s-iid that if the Board were to fence the trees at the Park Reserve they would be able to lot the remainder of the Reserve for £10 per annum at least.—Mr Jones moved that sufficient fencing be taken from the Commonage fence at Hamilton K ist to fence in the trees at the Park Reserve, fie work to bu done under the supervision of the Chairman and Mr Jones.—Seconded by Mr Davey and carried.—Or. Jones moved that the balance of the Park Reserve be let for a term of five years at an upset prion of £10 per annum.—Seconded by Mr S Union and carried. 4th W.ukatos.— Tho clerk wv.s instructed to get a plan of Sydney Square with a record of every oak tree planto'l there on the 20th instant, and to hang Ihe same in the Board's office for future reference. liiiincu. —Mr Tippcn was authorised ti get Mime repairs done to the Domain bridge over Seddon's drain. Rknts. —The Secretary reported that he had .seen most of the tenants during the month and that rents had come in freely except those due on Lots 40 East and (i' 2 West.—Mr Tippon moved that the Board re-enter on these two Lots and that they be olfered for loasa at an annual rental of O's and 10s per acre respectively, together with Lots 2!), 30, and 32 Kast at an annual rental of 2s (id per acre.— Seconded by Mr Jones and carried. This concluded tho business and tho Board rose.
