Native Team v. Auckland.

On Saturday afternoon ono of the fastest and most exciting football matches that has ever been played in Auckland took place in Potter's paddock, when the Native team of players met the local representatives, and suffered their first defeat since their return from England, the scores being 7 puints to 2. There was a very large number of spectators present, fully 5000 people being on tho ground when tho game started. Mr Williams captained the Natives and Mr Lecky tho Auckland reps.
