Joseph Taylor, who has been lately getting considerable gold in dredging a claim at the North Beach, on Thursday cleared a piece of ground for fixing his cataract pump, which arrived a few days ago. This grab was working seven hours, and the return was 40ozs. of amalgam, which was nearly half gold. The return was enough to pay the month's expenses.
