(IJY TKLEGRAI'U. —I'IUSS.S ASSOCIATION). Thamks, Jb'tiday. DEAN, late Town Clerk, was brought up at the Police Court to-day, before Mr Northcroft. Mr Williamson said tliero were numerous charges of forgery ami embezzlemont against him, but it was only intended at present to proceed with a few, so as to ensure committal to tho Supreme Court, which cominouces early next month. Dean was to-day indicted upon three charges of embezzlement, and was committed for trial.
