HAMILTON ANNIVERSARY.
The following will be the orderof the events in the programme for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the occupation of Hamilton, by the 4th Waikato Regiment. Ilia Worship the Mayor has proclaimed a public holiday for Monday next, in response to a requisition of the btisine.-s people. The survivors of the regiment will muster on Sydney Square at 11 o'clock, also the Hamilton Light Infantry and Band. Captain Ryid has kindly offered to photograph tho pioneers in a group, at. 12 o'clock. Treeplanting will take place at 1 p.m., and the luncheon, kindly provided by the Mayoress (Mrs Cmites) for the pioneers and volunteers at half-past 1. The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to sports on Sydney Square. The Hamilton Lieht Infantry bind will discourse sweet music during tho intervals, A variety entertainment in the evening will bring tho day's festivities to a close.
