|13Y TELEGRAPH.— PKISeSH ASSOCIATION. 1 NHLSON, Wednesday. The Supreme Court criminal sittings were opened to-day before Justice Richmond. George White, late Superintendent of the Nelson Lunatic Asylum, pleaded guilty to three charges of embezzlement, and whs sentenced to two years. Charles Powell, indicted for killing sheep with i.itent to steal, pleaded guilty, and was also sentenced to two years.
