NEW METHOD OF PRESERVING BUTTER.
[IIY TELEGRAPH. — I'KKSS ASSOCIATION , .] Yielding, Wednesday. Yesterday, in the presence of about 200 dairymen and farmers, a public test was made of Messrs Stevens and Mountfort's cold vacuum process for preserving fresh buttor, etc. It was shown that unsalted butter keeps perfectly sweet during the year. Tho process is entirely mechanical, and may be used by any dairyman, and practical men are. of opinion it will revolutionise the dairying industry.
