I'BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 CHRISTCHURCH Friday, Capt. Wilson, master of ketcli Aparia, while setting the mainsail of his ressel in Pigeon Bay, was knocked overboard by the boom aucl drowned. His mates were unable to render him any assistance. The body has not been recovered. Four pure-bred Hampshire Down sheep (two rams and two ewes), consigned to Mr Max Friedlander, of Ashburton, arrived by the Crusader to-day, in good condition. During rough weather they had quarters in a cabin. They are to be quarantined for ninety days.
