THE IRISH MEMBERS.

(by electric —copyright.) London, August 9. During the discussion in the House of Commons last night on the vote for the Irish magistracy, the Parnellites charged Mr Balfour with making an insulting gesture towards the Irish members. A scene of tremendous uproar ensued. Mr T. Harrington advanced towards the Government benches in a menacing manner, and had to be held back. Much excitement prevailed in the chamber, and it was with the utmost difficulty that order was restored. The Morning Post states that the scene has never been equalled in the history of the House of Oommous.
