ROAD BOARD. The Board hereby notify that they propose, in conjunction with the Town of Raglan Road Board, unitedly, to raise a loan of £300 sterling, under the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1582," and " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1856," for the purpose of completing the Raglan Wharf, Jetty, Sheds, etc.; and that they also propose to LEVY AN EXTRA SPECIAL RATE of One13IOIITI1 OK A PENNY IX T.IIE POUND Oil all ratable property in the Board's district (not including Crown and Native lauds), same to be levied on the Ist day of April in each aud every year, commencing the Ist day of April, 1889, to provide interest and sinking fund (if any) for the re-payment of £150 sterling, being Board's half of the above loan; aud, further, that they will proceed to pass a Special Order to give effect thereto on the 2-tth day of August next ensuing.
