All that portion of the road, known as the Cambridge-Oxford Road, commencing at a point on the eastern bonndary of the Cambridge Public Domain, in Block IX., Cambridge Survey District, and running thence in a S.E. direction, through Blocks X., XIV,, XV., and XVI., of the said Survey District, to the N. W. boundary of the Patetere Riding. 2. AH that portion of the road, known as the Cambridge - Tauranga Road, commencing at its juuetion with the Cambridge-Oxford Road in Block X., Cambridge Survey District, ana running thence in an easterly direction through Blocks XI. and XII. of the said Survey District, and Blocks IX. and X., Tapapa Survey District, to the S.E. boundary of the Matamata Riding. 3. All that portion of the road, known as the Thames-Waikato Road, commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Piako County in Block IX., Maungakawa Survey District, and running thence in a N.E. direction through Blocks V., VI., 11., 111., and IV., of the said Survey District ; through Block XVI., Waitoa Survey District, and Blocks XI. and IX , Te Aroha Survey District, to a road along the western bank of the Waihou River. Notice is hereby given that the Piako County Council proposes to RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN for the purpose of undertaking a Special Public Work within the Patetere Riding of the Piako County, aud the following statement is published in accordance with the provisions of Section 103 of "The Counties Act, 18S6 " : — 1. The particular work to be undertaken :— Taking, surveying, and making a road, coinmcucing at or near the Okoroiri Railway Station, and running thence in a south-easterly direction through portions of Blocks XIV. and XV., Tapapa Survey District, to a poiut on the Lichfield-Te Aroha Road, in Block 111., Patetere North Survey District. 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose : —£looo. 3. Special Rate it is proposed to pledge as security for such loan :—A Special Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the £ over all ratable properly within the Patetere Riding, exclusive of Crown and Native L-inds, such rate to be an annually - recurriug rate, payable half-yearly for 26 years.
