The WaiJtato Times Office, Monday. AUCKLAND PRODUCTS MARKETS. Mu Alkx. Aitken's Market Report for the week ending August 10.—Business has boon brisk during the week. Monday's sale of pure-bred poultry was largely attended ; for all good birds, there was keen competition. In potatoes, there is a brisk business doing in Wakatos, but Southern are difficult to move at prices asked. The demand for seed varieties has greatly improved, values all round aie unchanged. Onions: There has been a fair supply, which sold at higher prices. Carrots have moved off freely at late values. Grain generally is unchanged. Bacon and hams have also moved freely at previous values. Cheese of good quality is scarce, and higher in value, poor lots lower. Corned butter is almost unsaleable, unless very prime, the market being glutted; fresh butter supply, greatly increased, values lower ; eggs in fair supply, good values obtained ; apples have been in good supply, values higher; poultry in good supply, values higher ; pigs, short supply, values much higher.
