Lv Berlin a workman employed in a chemical factory having been told that sulphonal was a soporilic, and wanting something of the kind for his wife, determined to try it on himself first. Hβ took 30 grammes and slept for ninety hours, and after a short interval of wakefulness, slept again for twenty-four hours, without experiencing any ill effects.
