(by TELEGKAI'II. —-OWN COIIKESI'ONDE.N'T.) Auckland, Monday. At tho sale of Firth's mill the auctioneer staled the Loan Company and Bank of New Zealand were tho mortgagees. The only bid was £5,000 on behalf of the mortgagees and the mill was knocked down at that price.
George Fraser and William Fraser, proprietors of tho Phoenix foundry, have filed a petition in bankruptcy. Arrived, barque Largo Bay from London, with cargo valued at £21,700. This is the vessel which collided with the Glendor, the latter going down with all hands.
