«jp LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. (BY TELEGRAPH. —VRIiSS ASSOCIATION). FRIDAY. The Council met at 2.30. The Counties :Vct Amendment Bill was referred to the Local Bills Committee. The Triennial Licensing Committees Bill was read a third time and passed. The Napier High School Hill Leases Validation Bill passtd through committee, read a third time and passed. The Dunodin Inhibition Public Street Closing and Licensing Bill was committed, and was reported with amendments. The Council rose at 2.30 till Tuesday.
