HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
.-V si'icciAr, meeting of the Hamilton Barough Council was held in the Council Chambers, immediately after the Domain Board meeting, on Tuesday evening. Present : His Worship the Mayor, Mr I. Coates, in the chair, and Crs. Tippen, Salmon, Wood, Bell and Jones. The only business was the consideration of a notice of motion by Cr. Bel), " That Sections !) and 10, part of Lot 417, Hamilton East foreshore, old punt landing, containing 2a. Or. 3|>., be offered for lease by public auction for a term of ten years, at an upset price of os per acre per annum. —Seconded by Cr. Salmon. —Cr. Tippen moved as an amendment, that the term be five years at an upset rental of £1 Is per annum.—Seconded by Cr. Jones. The amendment was put and carried. Crs. Bell and Wood only dissenting.—This concluded the business and the Council rose.
