IBY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— CCrYRIGHT-l London, July 17. Jack the Ripper recently informed the police that he would begin operations again in July, and the recent nnirder in Whitechapel is consequently attributed to him. The muHilated body of a prostitute lias been found under a gaslamp in Castle Alloy, Whitechapel. The woman was about forty years of age, and has not yet been identified. Her clothes were gashed, but the body was intact. Her throat was cut. The murderer had evidently been disturbed at his ghastly work and fled. A constable passed the spot five minutes previously. Two hundred police now form a cordon round the district.
