Messrs A. Vincent and Son, painters and decorators, have a business notice in this issue, , Mr W. J. Hunter will hold a sale ot horses, produce, &c., at Te Awamutu on Saturday next. Mr G. Mcßride, merchant, tailor, Auckland, notifies that lie has secured letters patent for waterprooling tweed or cloth, and recommends overcoats treated 111 this manner, as being more serviceable than macintoshes. Mr Whitehouse, agent for Mr Mcßride, is at present in Waikato with samples of tweeds and coatings, of which goods Mr Mcßrido holds an exceptionally large stock.
