TSucklani) and Sons' Wekkly RKl'Olt'r. —At the Hayo.arket during the last week, consequent on the fodder being wet, price.s have ruled lower, ranging from Is lid to Us 3d ; ensilage, 2s the cut; oats, 2s !)d to 3s 2d ; wheat, 3s 3d the bushel. On Friday horse stock were at late values ; useful animals brought from £(> 10s to £10 each. At the hido and skin sale on Tuesday, cows and light ox were lower about ,}d the lb, but heavy ox kept their late values, and skins were better worth, Prices for ox hides ranged from 3jd to *l£d ; cows, to 2 : ,V1; calfskins, 4\<i to -ljd the lb; green ox hides, 22s !)d to 24s 3d ; heavy salted ox hides, 2m to o7s Gd each ; butchers' skins, 3a lOd to 4s 7d ; station skins, Is (id to 4s 4d each ; tallow. 10s the cwt. At Komnera on Thursday good dairy cows were in fair demand, and brought from £4 to £6 10s each, but inferior animals wero at storo values ; store cattle without alteration in price. Fat cattle were better worth than lust week, about 10s each; steers, 15s to 10s; emvs, 12s to 13s the lOOlbs, were the ruling values; fat calves, scarce, and at twice usual prices. The ewes advertised brought 12s each, and fat sheep were better worth, Is Gd each ; wethers ranged from 12s to "15s (id, ewes up to 12s Gd each. Few j/igs yarded, and those sold satisfactorily. 'Mkssiw Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Rlii'OliT. —Grain, seeds, horsefeed, &c. : A rather brisk demand has continued, with an upward tendency in values for most of the lines. Wo quote ; Feed oats, 3s Gd to os 8(1 per bushel ; mai/.e, 3s 3d to 3s Gd ; liran, t'G to £0 10s per ton ; chatf, £2 10s to .£4. Horses : The supply has been amplo for requirements, and the demand was fairly good for most descriptions, and there remained an unsatisfied demand tor good, upstanding young horses. A large number were entered for disposal under the hammer on Friday, at the Durham Yards, Bidding was tolerably brisk at the commencement of the sale, but as the sale proceeded became slower, and eventually most of the lots were cleared. We quote : Hacks at from £5 to £5 10s; light harness horses, from £5 10s to £12 ; medium draughts, £13 10s. Wool, hides, and skins : There was a good supply at the Durham Yards on Tuesday, and a, brisk demand. We quote ox hides at from B.|d to -I.yd per lb. ; cow hides, 2|d to 3d ; green ox hides, from 233 Gd to 28s each ; green cow hides, Us to 13s Gd each ; calfskins, B.UI to -lyd per lb. ; wool 111 bags, ll.fd to 7fd per lb. sheepskins, from 2s 3(1 to 4s 8d each. Tallow, 1.2s Gd to 15s Gd per cwt. Cattle : The supply of all descriptions has been sufficient for requirement, and a steady demand has existed, with little or no alteration in value. Above an average number of fat bea*ts and dairy cows were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday. There was hut a shr.rt muster (if stores on that day, but a good many were yarded at the midwinter sale at Papaknra on Wednesday, and notwithstanding the recent heavy rainfall there was an improved demand, although no noteworthy alterations in value. Dairy stock maintained the previous week's values, as did also well fatted oxen arid cows, but old stock, and those not .suHicicnily up, sold relatively lower, and prices ranged—for steers, from lis to 15s ■per 1001b ; and cows, from 10s to l is. Some averages of steers were £3 lis Gd, £1 ss, £4 17s Gd, £5 lis Gd, £G ss, £G 12s Gd, £7 10s ; cows, £2 17s Gd, £3 7s Gd, £3 17s Gd, £4 ss. Sheep were penned in moderate numbers at Newmarket en Tuesday, and wero freely competed for. Wethers sold at from 12s Gd to 15s !)d ; mixed, 13s to 15s Gd. Tigs wero in improved demand and rather short supply, and sold readily at from 2d to 2,[d per lb live iveight.

Mutton brought from ljd to 2 per lb. Wo topped the icarket with sonic heavy half-bred wethers, from Mr John Gunn, junr., at 17s (id. General transactions were as under:— Prime heavy cross-bred wethers, l-">s and 17s (id ; mixed sexes and heavy owes, 13s and 15s (id; lighter weight and inferior, lis and 12s ; medium merino wethers, 7s Gd. Store sheep: Only a moderate entry, principally dealers' lots, and a quiet demand. Crossbred ewes made (is !!d, 7s 3d, Ns 3d and !ls Id ; crossbred lambs, ,Xs Id and 10s; mixed two-tooth crossbred*, Us.
