Notice is hereby given that the Matamata Road Board propose to CLOSE the undermentioned ROADS within the said District :— 1, All that pared of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement (i acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, situated in the Matamata South Block, and being a road line 150 links wide, traversing a portion of that Block in the Wairere Survey District, commencing at peg No. VII. on the southern .wide of the road leading easterly from the Waharoa Railway Station ; bounded towards the south by lines 2400-3 links and 2215 links respectively ; towards the west by a line 175 links; towards the north by lines 2251 links and 2355 1 links respectively ; and towards the east by a line 154 links to the commencing point ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the same is delineated on Map No. 40S0A, deposited in the Survey Ollieo, Auckland. 2. All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement "2 roods 20_'8 perches, more or less, situated in the Waircre Survey District, and being a road line, varying in width, traversing a portion of the Matamata South Block; commencing at the westernmost angle of the Waharoa Railway Station ; bounded towards the south-west by a line 352 links ; towards the north-west by a line HiO links; towards the northcast by a line 350 links ; and towards the south-east by a line 200 links to the commencing point ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the same is delineated on Block Sheet No. XIII., Wairere Survey District.

Notice is hereby given that the Matamata Road Board propose, at a meeting of the said Board to be held at the Estate Oflices, Matamata, at 2 p.m. on MONDAY, the 22nd day of July pro.v., to make the following Special Order : — "That the Special Rate of one-tenth of a penny in the £, made upon the 25th day of February last, not being sullicicnt to meet the annual charges upon the loan of £SSO raised under the provisions of 'The Local Bodies Loans Act, 188(5,' this Board does now by Special Order, and under the powers conferred upon it by Section 2!) of the said Act, increase the said Rate to oue farthing in the £, to be payable upon the dates and at the place set forth in the Special Order of the 25th of February last making the Special Rate hereinbefore referred to."
