Robinson : Application to /iiivo thu evidence of Hubert MoWilliams and John Goonan taken for Auckland Court. Taken accordingly. A. Gil more v. J. M. Robsun : Application to have evidence: of defendant and Henry Stonehill taken for Tauranga Court. Adjourned till - July 22nd. liiigiiall Bros. v. Owen Griffith's . Judgment summons, £28 17s (id. Ordered'to pay entire amount on or before July Ist, or in default two months in Mount Kden gaol. Tho case Donald Snodgrass v. K: J. Thorpe for wilfully damaging a fence to the value of £2 at Karangahake on 27th May was withdrawn, defendant having agreed to pay expenses. Sir Will win Wastoneys is commencing practice at I'aeroa. ' School Mattkhk.— The Board of Education have agreed to purchase the school site and school-house at Owharoa at prexjnt in private hands, and have also agreed to erect a school at Karangahake, closing the school at Mack'ay town, • n township once thickly populated but now almost deserted. A school-house is likely to be erected at Rangiora, a small settlement on the WaiiiiMi rivr-r. The suhool building at Waihi,
now boiuj; erected by public subscription, is approaching completion. Arrangements are to bo made whereby the Board of Kdiiciitiim will subsidise a competent teaolicr.
