Tun JoUinthe, in charge of a pilot, struck the Cape do Verde between main and mizzon masts, and cut into her as far as tho after hatch, Tho Capo do Verda sank in fivo initiates, in seven fathoms of water. Tho crew, numbering 'Xi, took to the rigging, and wore all rescued by tho Inlanthc's boats, and the Customs launch. The night was dark and squally, and the Cape do Verde was at anchor at the time ; the two vessels came together with a terrific shock.
