Aitkhn's Mahkkt llrcroin' for week ending June 15. — Produce of most kinds has moved off freely at about !;t(e quotations, and iu some eases the supply was short of reduireuients. Potatoes of good quality aro ill good demand, and several large c iders are now waiting supply. The same applies to onions, which are now in great demand, mostly inferior coming forward. Oats, maize, and wheat, values are unchanged, demand good. Bacon and hams have been quiet, many second-class and inferior lots coming in ; that of choice quality finds speedy sale. Eggs have been scarce, value unchanged. Fresh butter: A very large supply, of which but very little has been first-class ; values are unaltered. Corned butter does not improve, which is principally due to fresh being so plentiful, and as the season is now well forward, some holders are getting anxious to sell ; for prime, the only demand is for Island orders, and fir those it is very difficult to get any good enough. Cheese, in fair supply, prices are somewhat firmer ; really good is scarce, several orders on hand for loaf sizes. Honey is quiet; stocks are large. Fruit: Pears, in short supply, apples m good supply, the quality on the whole, has been better ; values nncbanged. Poultry: All pens lil.'ed ; prices were slightly higher. Pigs: Full supply, no improvement in prices.
