INTEBPROVINCIAL

(lIY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, Monday. At the City Court, today, ex-Inspector Mallard said there was a fight in the Northern Recreation ground on Saturday night, and Constable Willis, who was on duty, was looking and when the witness called on him to interfere he stood by, apparently afraid to stop the combatants. The constable was an arrant coward, and witness, who stopped the fight himself, told him so. The bench warmly enlogised Mr Mallard's action, and said that Constable Wallis' conduct would be brought under the notice of Inspector Weldon. MATAMATA, Monday. Abraham Warbrick, aged 72 years, is dead.
