Pkksdent Hahkison accepts the Queen's meesage of sympathy upon tlio Johnstown catastrophe as an explosion of a generous character on the part of herself and indicative of the good will of England towards the United States. The wife of a leading citizen of Johnstown has been found alivo in the debris. (V coffin was found containing a corpse partly burned.
