KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.

Tjik usual monthly meeting of the Kirikiriroa Road Board was held in the AVaiknto County Council Chambers at 2 p.m., yesterday. There were pre-ont: Messrs' Primrose (chairman), Maclean and Edmonds

Loyki.i.'s Bkiihie.—The Engineer reported that the contractor had finished his work very satisfactorily. On taking tho decking off it was found that one. of the stringers was two-thirds rotten, and he had had it replaced. He had also sold the old timber to Mr Loveil, for £1 i>s.

Koad Maixtkxaxce.—The Engineer reported that lie had inspected the roads under Mr Wisliart's charge, and found that they were all well kept, with the exception of the road between the school house bridge, and his own house. Mr Wishart had prom isod to put this road in good order during the next week, and lie gave in a eertilicate tor the. amount duo to him, tlm clerk to hold the cheque back until the wo.rlc had been done. Churches, £(iS ; ii, MxNicol, £15!) IDs lid. It was resolved that Crosby Bros., being ratepayers, their tender be accepted.

Fuii/.k. —The chui rman drew the attention of the Board to tho furze along the road at the back of Claudeland;, and the Engineer was instructed to see into the matter, and make the necessary reports. The. Engineer reported that Captain Steele hud promised to cut the fmv.o back along the road in Million's Cully, and this matter was held over till next month, Payments.—'The following accounts were passed for payment :—(i.
