The Waihato Times Office, Monday. AUCKLAND PRODUCE MARKETS. Mb Alkx. Aitkkn's Markkt Rurour for the week ending June I.—A very good business been done during the week. Produce (if all kinds has found ready sale. Potatoes of better quality have come to hand from Waikato districts, and better prices have been obtained. Onions have been quitted in large quantities at high prices, find the demand is yet unsatisfied, j Maize is scarce. Oats are also wanted at improved values. Wheat has a slightly downward tendency ; several paresis have been quitted at late quotations. Fowls were in good supply, and sold at slightly better average. Ducks in good numbers; prices really good. Turkeys and geese also sold at higher prices. Pigs were entered in largo numbers, but owing to the rain pre- ( venting many farmers attending the sale, 1 prices were lower. Rabbits have been quitted readily at satisfactory prices; there is a demand for a larger quantity. Hams and bacon : Supply of local lots increasing; values unchanged. Cheese has moved readily, but little left on hand. Honey, quiet. Fre-h butter in good supply; values unchanged. The same also applies to eggs. Corned butter, quiet, Fruit shows 110 signs of falling off. At Tuesday's sale prices wore higher; but on Friday, owing to the unfavourable state of the weather, the demand was more limited. London, May 30. -The American demand for wool is increasing. London, June 1. —Wellington hemp is quoted at £33 10s; Auckland, trom £32 to £34 10s. Complaints are being made as to the quality of tin til.ro. Four thousand bales of sheepskins have been sold at an advance of one farthing.
