Our present available surplus beyond home requirements is now es-tiinntod at'about. 25,000 tons only, the principal portion of which it is anticipated will be shipped during the season in the form of Hour to supply the requirements of New South Wales and (Queensland. Deliveries of wheat from the country are now on a very limited scale, and as millers are only purchasing sparingly, the market lias been dull, with a falling tendency since our last month's report-. Tile weather has continued very favourable for our fanners, and a larger area than usual will bo placed under crop under very encouraging conditions. Wheat has been'in limited demand during the month at from os lid to os Sd for ordi* nary to pood iiiillinfr- Oats have a large consumption, and priccs keep firm from 5s lid to 5s iid for ordinary to good milling.
