Bhiu.in', May 20. The Westphalian strikes will terminate on Tuesday, the masters having agreed to concede everything except- the demand for overtime. Tho strikes, however, are spreading in Silesia. Prince Bismarck, in referring to the strike among tho Westphalian colliers, said the Government would take measures to prevent a minority paralysing all industry. The Chancellor urged tho Reichstag to pass tlie Bill providing for the insurance of indigent workmen. Mny 21. Three thousand masons have struck for higher wages and a reduction of the hours of labour to nine hours per day.
