Carrots sell readily, but values are n\v. Vegetables were in largo supply and sold at satisfactory prices. Wheat oats, and maizo have moved off freely at late quotations Local bacon and hams are coming in freely, and find ready sale at late quotations: 'Canterbury slow of sale, bgga, increased supply and values are lower. Fresh butter : A good quantity received, values unchanged. Corned butter in cood supply; second-class has moved freely for local trade, but it is vet too early to force the salo of prime quality ; values will be higher. Cheese of prime quality is scarce; only second-class mi hand ; values unchained. I'nut is still cming to hand in largo quantity, and has ni-'t with better demand at satisfactory rates ; fully 1000 cases have been quitted this week, and the quality, on the whole, has boiMi "nod.
