[IIY TELEGKAI'II.— I'IIESS ASSOCIATION.] Nai'IKII, Monday. Haike Te Fekk was executed for tho murder of the Pook family this morning. Ho met his fate without emotion. At his trial at Gisborne, Pero confessed to the murder, but last Friday night made a statement to Capt. Prcece, Pi. M., to the effect that he and his brother entered Pook's store for the purpose of robbery, hut being detected, his brother struck Pook, and in fact committed all tho murders while Teliaire looked on in bewildered astonishment. He stated to others that it was arranged amongst the family, that ho being guiltless, should bo arrested, and would be got off, his brother payinf for the lawyer with the proceeds of tho robbeiy. There was no communication with the steamers, owing to the storm, and the hangman was carried on. A prisoner serving a short sentence was the executioner, for which the rest of his sentence was remitted. The Charitable Aid Board have applied to tho sheriff to know when the hangman is to be released, as the Board are supporting his wife and child for the desertion of whom he was sent to goat for four months. It is understood that he is to be discharged to morrow, and his passage paid elsewhere. ()n his release his wife will prosecute him again. Two months of his sentence have been served,
