YVkimmno Hulls.—At the invitation of Mr and Mrs Pinch, a very pleasant party as sembled together at the Alexandra Hotel on Wednesday evening last, in celebration of tho marriage of their daughter, Miss J. A, Pinch, that morning with Mr Win. M. Nowsham, late of the Public Works Department on tho Kuiti contract, but now residing at Waiorongomai. The brido being so well known throughout the district from her musical and theatrical abilities, which were at all times cheerfully at the service of any good cause, has made herself a host of friends, who, of course, took great interest in her marriage. Her husband, Mr Newsham, is also well and favourably known throughout the district. The marriage service was performed in the morning, at the residence of the bride's parents, by the ltev. Mr Boler, a large number of tho bride's relations being present. Mr llursthim.se, District Engineer, officiated as best man. After breakfast the happy couple drove off amidst showers of rice and old slippers to their future homo, with the good wishes of all here for their happiness and prosperity. Tho evening party enjoyed themselves immensely with dancing, charades, singing, and other giunos, the fun being kept up without cassation. When it is mentioned that Mrs Grierson, Miss Allen, tho Misses Wills, Miss Ireland, and other ladies all aided in tho harmony, it only goes to prove what all declared it to be, as pleasant a party as ever assembled here. The refreshments provided by the host and hostess, it need hardly be noticed, were plentiful and heartily enjoyed. The health of the happy couple was duly toasted, not forgetting Mr and Mrs Pinch.
