The following are the returns for tho county of Raglan for 1880, compared with those of 1888. Holdiugs 149, last year 147. Land broken up, but not in crops 214J acres —200.7 acres. In wheat, 185 A acres"; estimated crop 4,591 bushels—SsJ acres, 2,122 bushels. Oats for hayl22J acres— 234": acres. Oats for grain 144J acres, estimated yield 4,801 bushels— acres, 3,350 bushels. Barley, 1} acres, G8 bushels—lA acres, 35 bushels. Maize, 171 acres for green food, 11 acres for grain," estimated yield 340 bushels—4sJ acres, 8(84 bushels. Hay, 1320 acres, estimated yield 202 tons— lliO acres, tons. Land in grasses 0,770 acres —0,043 acres. Land not previously broken up, 13,802 acres—ls,l2S acres, Grass seed, bushels—Bos bushels, Potatoes, acres, estimated yield 938.:,; tons—l4s.): acres, 7S4| tons. Turnips, 203.Jj acres, 25|- tons—2oß acres, 9i tuns. Garden, 27A acres —37 acres. Orchards 99 acres—lol r acres. Forest plantations, 7!).f acres—lo7j' acres. The number of dairy cows is returned this year as 1,193.
