(by teleukapii.— own correspondent). Auckland, Friday. It is expected that the irregularity in connection with road board elections will be made good by an Order-in-Council. The Star has received a number of commwnications showing the extent to which the local bodies are abusing the power conferred upon them under the Hating Act in selling land for rates.
