Thk New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) report under cUto, Sydney, April 13th :—Wheat (free): Up to within tho last few days tho market, lias continued fairly strong, numerous transactions passing at up to 5s for New Zealand Tuscan ; Hunter's White and Pearl, from 'Is (id to 4s od. .During the last few days, however, the demand has slackened otV, and at tho various auction H.ilos which have been held during tho week, nearly every line has been passed, biddings stopping short at about 4s 0d for Tuscan, other descriptions being neglected. There have been numerous inquiries for parcels for forward delivery, but the high prices asked in Now Zealand have in most, cases prevented business from eventvnting.
