LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS

(BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Wednesay. At Mr D. F. Evans' sale to-day, several lots situated at Northcote, Raglan, Hamilton and Alexandra were disposed of. At the Supreme Court to-day it was arranged to hear arguments between the Kauri Timber Company and the Kaihu Railway Company at the Court of Appeal. At the Board of Education to-day the subject of inspection was deferred till after next session of Parliament. The Ohaupo Committee forwarded a report on the condition of the teacher's house. It was shown that numerous panes of glass were broken, locks out of repair, and wall paper in a delapidated condition. It was resolved to forward tho report to the ex-teacher, who had occupied the house for the last eight years, for an explanation.
