It can be used on rough boards, inside or out, thus saving the cost of painting. —3. If one room should take fire the contents may be cousumed without injuring the adjoining room, and you may go to bed without fear of being burnt to death. This plaster, or some preventative of the kind, is much needed on hotels built of wood.—4. It makes the room cool in summer and warm in winter.—s. Vermin of any kind cannot get through this plaster, or lodge in it in any way, thus keeping the room free of vermin of every description.—6. All information can be had of Mr D. Richardson, architect, Cambridge, at the office of this paper, and from J. S. Bond, Cambridge, at whosj places of businesss photographs taken after the recent fire in Karaugahape Road, Auckland, may be seen. This fire clearly demonstrated the value of Blaikie's Fire Proof Plaster, which effectually checked the spread of the fire at the eastern end of the block, where the same had been used at the instance of the New Zealand Insurance Co.—JAS. B. BLAIKIE, Victoria-street, Auckland.
