LoKD Onslow arrived here from Melbourne tliis evening. It is probable that Lady Onslow will leave by the Te Kapo for Welliugfcon on Monday. In the Assembly this afternoon Mr J. M. Brunker, Minister of Lands, introduced a new Land Bill. The measure generally is of a liberal character, and inui eases the area under which conditional purchases may be made. In the case of Lavinia Dines, whose body was exhumed some time ago, and evidence of malpractice exhibited, the jury, to-day, at first returned a verdict of murdei aiiainst Dr. Smith and his wife. After further consideration, they amended their verdict, to the effect that the deceased died from perforation of the intestines, but there was no evidence to show how caused. In the House last night, a Bill to establish reciprocity between the various colonies with regard to judgments obtained in Courts other than Supreme Courts was read a second time. It enables a creditor in one colony to have judgment entered and execution issued against a levanting debtor in another colony. Adelaide, Apiil 12.
